Radio Reading Service Module

The Radio Reading Service Module provides complete inventory control and tracking of reading service receivers in the Fundraising System database. It stores vital information and generates reports, enhancing your ability to provide excellent customer service.

Retains and Integrates Valuable Information

• An Inventory Record is created for each receiver which stores details, such as serial number, model number and technical specs.
• New receivers with sequential serial numbers can be entered as a batch.
• Tables allow the user to edit, delete or add an unlimited number of codes for "status", "type" and "activity" fields.
• Quick and accurate data entry using pop-ups and pull-down menus.
• An Activity Record is created for each check-out, return, etc. creating a log of activities pertaining to the unit.
• Reading Service information, including a complete log of receiver assignments, is stored on a tabbed screen in each individual’s personal record.
• Recording a receiver check-out or return can be done with a few clicks of the mouse.
• Receiver records are easy to find and select using multiple search methods:
  • serial number
  • station/serial number (for reading services handling more than one station)
  • model number
  • person
  • frequency
  • status/location.
• The inventory search screen displays a one-line summary of each receiver record which can be expanded to display a summary of the receiver’s history.

Streamlines Inventory Tracking and Reporting

• Current loan status as well as a detailed activity history of the receiver is displayed on each inventory record.
• User-defined Activity Codes speed data entry and standardize receiver activities and notes both in the receiver’s and the person’s record.
• As Activity Records are entered, the data entry person’s user ID is automatically inserted and the current date defaults into the date field.
• Changing or adding an activity record on a person’s record automatically updates the receiver’s inventory record to reflect its status, i.e. available, broken, loaned out.
• Activity Journal Report gives an onscreen view of all activity records.
• Integration with the Fundraising System allows Radio Reading Service Module fields to be segmented for reporting.
• A report menu allows the user to set parameters and create inventory reports with just a few mouse clicks.
• Fields and ranges within fields can be downloaded into Excel worksheets for analysis.
