Logs
Logs and grids are organized in an easy to view format. Data entry is enhanced by a number of specific features including automatic clock calculations and color-coding. The system provides for unlimited scheduling into the future and easy addition and placement of all spot types.

- Logs and grids can be set to display the remaining availabilities for each program block.
- Display logs onscreen or print them with user-set page breaks.
- Use the Sync mode for a paperless studio, with a self-scrolling log.
- Indicate airtime and status immediately on the onscreen log.
- Set your own preferences for display options and color-coding for easy and instant recognition of the various elements.
- The font style and size can be set for each type of log element for easy visibility.
- Discrepancies, scripts, and other elements can be set to display or be suppressed.
- Reorder log columns and set page breaks.
- Break and spot detail changes may be made for a single date or for a range of dates.
- Break elements may include all common break types plus your own custom break types.
- Pool time may be created to accommodate multiple spots.
- On the Daily Log tab, Allegiance identifies missing elements for you, showing available pool time for promo and spot elements and rescheduling bumped items.
- Any bumps will be shown onscreen and can be rescheduled with just a few clicks.
- Spots may be moved or swapped with a simple drag and drop.
- A Manual Placement feature allows you to drop library records representing all spot types into pools of available time in your schedule.
- By attaching dollar values to various times of day, your avails reports can include useful financial projection data.
- Programming changes can be made for a specific range of dates or on a long-term or permanent basis in a matter of minutes.
Sales
The Allegiance system allows you to track all clients and prospects, enter contracts, monitor payments, attach general ledger numbers, and create invoices/statements, affidavits and other materials customized with your station logo.
- Contact management tools help you provide excellent customer service and cultivate prospects.
- Speedy look-ups using name, affiliation/member number, affiliation/name, address, zip, phone number plus an additional user-defined method.
- Advanced exporting to Microsoft Word™ and Excel™ for mail merges and client lists.
- Detailed account information is displayed on the Account Information tab. There are additional tabs for Extended Data, History, Activities, and Appended Data.

- Multiple flights may be created to provide greater detail and/or control over scheduling parameters.
- Numerous options are available for creating and changing flights including

- Separate placement from up to 3 competing or conflicting business types.
- Place spots into single or multiple stations.
- Access the copy library.
- All spots are scheduled at the time of contract entry.
- Automatic and manual scheduling options give you maximum control over the placement of your credits.
- Spots can be scheduled, released, etc., in batches or individually, or held until a user-defined time.
- A Cash Receipt Header is created when cash payments are applied, providing the required audit trail which indicates the affiliation, date and accounting period as well as the amount of cash in the deposit.
- As cash is entered against accounts, the keyed amount will be totaled.
- A disparity between the deposit amount and keyed amount alerts you to a keying error for immediate correction.
- See contract history at a glance on the History tab which displays the dates and amounts of the first, smallest, largest and last contract.
Library
The Library maintains a database of your credits, operator and technical notes, IDs, station and program promos plus user-defined custom types.
- Library Records are accessed via a searchable easy-to-use interface.
- Search by type or specific record name.
- Tabs provide quick access to Production, Rights/Feed, and Media/Elements screens for each library record.
- Minimize lag time and centralize the creation process and route items directly into production with the production scheduler, accessible to all staff 24/7.
- A Rights/Feed tab is used to add or update series, rights or episode records, and to set feed details.
- A Media/Elements tab defines the storage media and actual length.
- A PODS Interface displays the PBS program offering list.
Reports
A variety of Availabilities and Sales and Management Reports are generated using this portion of the system. Accurate availabilities reports can be customized with parameters settings for week, day, date, and hour. You can specifically exclude days of the week, specific hours, or programs as the needs of individual station staff require.

- Color-coding on the Availabilities Summary Report comes from the colors on your Program Grid, for easy recognition.
- Programs may be broken down by hour.
- Track remaining sales potential by entering target dollar amounts for each hour on your Program Grid.
- Track sold and unsold spots, as well as programming and station event promos, which can assist your Program Director in on-air planning.
- Track separate avails for original and repeat program airings.
Billing
The billing section generates color statements, statements of trade, and affidavits individually or in batches. Affidavits and statements are customized with your logo and special messages or instructions.
